As part of a demanding heritage preservation project, we digitally documented the historic Caputh railway station near Potsdam using our Point cloud to 3D BIM approach. This 19th-century building was captured with the highest level of precision and care to preserve its architectural details for future generations.
By combining laser scanning, photogrammetry, and Archicad BIM modeling, we created a highly accurate digital replica with millimeter precision. The resulting point cloud served as the foundation for a detailed 3D BIM model, which can be used for restoration planning as well as long-term documentation and conservation.
This project is a prime example of how our proven Point cloud to 3D BIM workflow brings the preservation of historic buildings into the digital age. By merging cutting-edge technologies with expert knowledge, we produce models that are both visually compelling and technically reliable.
