On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of enrollment and the 20th anniversary of graduation, alumni of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education had a meaningful reunion. This was not only an opportunity to recall memories and express gratitude to teachers but also to open new avenues for important cooperation between enterprises and the university.
At the meeting, Mr. Huynh Si Nguyen – Co-founder/CEO of VMT Solutions and SSIFT Vietnam, and also an alumnus of the Faculty of Construction (formerly the Faculty of Basic Engineering) – shared his heartfelt thoughts. As a representative of the alliance of Construction & Engineering companies from Germany and Switzerland, he expressed his desire to promote in-depth cooperation with the Faculty of Construction and agreed to implement many practical joint activities, notably:
Scholarship sponsorship: Supporting students with difficult circumstances to overcome financial barriers to complete their studies; while also encouraging students with outstanding achievements, research projects, or creative innovations.
Cooperation in recruitment and internship placement: Creating opportunities for students to access real working environments, practice professional skills, and be ready to integrate into the international labor market.
For VMT Solutions and SSIFT Vietnam, this is not only a matter of social responsibility but also a mission to spread values and accompany the young generation – the future engineers and architects. We believe this cooperation will serve as a bridge linking education and practice, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources for the construction and technology industry.
The reunion not only reaffirmed the close friendship of 25 years among the alumni but also reflected their sense of responsibility to the community and the next generation. VMT Solutions and SSIFT Vietnam are proud to accompany the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education on the journey of training and developing talent.
