Six months ago, a surveying partner reached out with a new project brief from a major architecture firm in Germany. The request was specific: native Allplan model from point cloud data<\/strong>. No IFC. No generic format. Native Allplan, editable and production-ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ten years ago, this would have been a problem. Point cloud to BIM<\/a> partners were sparse, and many firms defaulted to IFC output as a workaround. Today, the market has shifted. Architects and engineers are no longer willing to compromise. They want native models in the software they use daily, and they are willing to change partners if that is what it takes to get it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
