Wolfgang Brune<\/strong>, Vice President of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hochschule-biberach.de\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Biberach University of Applied Sciences<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Glock<\/strong>, Academic Director of Civil Engineering and Construction Management at the <a href=\"https:\/\/vgu.edu.vn\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Vietnamese-German University (VGU)<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_We_Discussed\"><\/span>What We Discussed<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The exchange centered on how point cloud processing and scan-to-BIM modeling differ in practice from academic teaching, and where both sides can learn from each other. We showed how we build native BIM models for Revit, Archicad, Allplan, and Vectorworks from 3D laser scans, which levels of detail (LOD 100 to 400) are common, and how we check the accuracy of every model against the point cloud before it goes to the client.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bridging_Theory_and_Practice_Our_Internship_Program\"><\/span>Bridging Theory and Practice: Our Internship Program<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A central topic of the conversation was our internship program. Students from Biberach University and VGU get hands-on experience with us in modeling with Archicad and Revit as well as point cloud processing, work on real projects, and learn the requirements that actually apply in professional practice.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_This_Partnership_Matters_to_Us\"><\/span>Why This Partnership Matters to Us<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Direct contact with universities like Biberach and VGU helps us work with qualified talent early on and regularly check our internal standards against current academic teaching.
